Case Study: EasyClean Composite Decking in Windsor
Wooden decking often looks lovely when it’s first installed, but those boards can lose their good looks surprisingly quickly. This couple moved into a new build property in Windsor back in 2013, but before even five years had passed, they noticed that their wood decking had gone completely rotten.
The couple opted to replace their decaying wood decking with long-life composite decking, and after a bit of online research, they found TimberTech. We were one of several composite deck manufacturers from whom they ordered samples, but after a visit to our Slough showroom – where they were able to see our boards in real outdoor installations – they decided that TimberTech’s products were the best choice for the job.
This project was completed using our EasyClean composite decking. Not only do these boards look absolutely lovely, but they also come with a moisture-resistant polymer sleeve that wraps around the whole board (whereas other capped decking is coated only on the top and sides). This extra protection from standing water was one of the main reasons why the couple chose TimberTech for their outdoor space.
